Best Black Friday MacBook deals: November 24

Black Friday, the biggest shopping event of the season, has started, despite the fact that Black Friday isn’t actually until tomorrow–November 25. If you are looking for a great deal on a new MacBook Pro or MacBook Air you have come to the right place. We’ve checked all the best resellers in the U.S. and the U.K. and have tracked down the best deals you can get right now. We are here to help you save money on a new Apple laptop on Black Friday 2022.

Apple sells two kinds of Apple laptop in various sizes. There are three sizes of MacBook Pro. These include a 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that come with either the M1 Pro or M1 Max. You may also be able to find deals on the older 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 that Apple has discontinued; some resellers may still have it in stock.

Similarly, Apple sells two kinds of MacBook Air: the M2 MacBook Air, introduced in July 2022, and the older M1 MacBook Air, which was launched in 2020. You may be able to find deals on both models. Some resellers may even have the M1 MacBook Air with 8-Core GPU that Apple discontinued. • We tend to find that the best savings are on older models.
• Check the generation of the model that is discounted to make sure you know exactly what you are buying and what it’s really worth.
• We’ve seen resellers switch to selling refurbished or used when the stock of brand-new models run out, so check that the model discounted isn’t actually a used Mac and therefore not as good a deal as it might look.
• That’s not to say you should avoid refurb models – you just need to make sure that you aren’t buying refurb without knowing. This is a good discount on an ‘Open Box’ MacBook Pro that is unused for example: Walmart, MacBook Pro, 16-inch, M1 Pro chip, 16-core GPU, $1,799 ($700 off)!
• Mac deals aren’t limited to Black Friday. We see good deals all year round, so don’t feel pressured into buying during Black Friday.
• However, if you are outside the U.S. we expect that these will be the best prices you will ever see based on clear indications that Apple is likely to increase Mac prices some point, as it did to iPad prices following the launch in October.
