Ex-tennis star Jelena Dokic opens up about suicidal thoughts: ‘I am definitely on the highway to recovery’

Jelena Dokic, a former best-rated Australian tennis player who concluded in the semifinals of the 2000 Wimbledon event, courageously opened up about her struggles with psychological health Monday. 

Dokic, who retired in 2014, opened up on Instagram about her struggles and disclosed she had suicidal views in April. She wrote in an Instagram publish she nearly “jumped off my 26th floor balcony and took my possess lifestyle.”
