Coming shortly to SeaWorld San Diego is the tallest, quickest, and longest dive coaster in California.

Named the Emperor coaster, the experience “will mimic the underwater diving capability of the iconic Emperor penguin, the world’s greatest penguin, and take thrill-seekers on an exhilarating journey through highs, lows, twists and turns in no way right before found by the condition of California,” stated the theme park in a media launch.

The attraction opens on March 12 and will be the very first and only floorless dive coaster in the condition. Riders will climb 153 ft and “plunge as a result of a 143-foot facedown vertical fall, accelerating more than 60 miles for every hour,” SeaWorld said.  The Emperor coaster also attributes inversions, barrel rolls, an Immelmann loop, and much more.
