Ukraine holds first war-crimes trial for Russian soldier

The primary soldier arrested for struggle crimes throughout the invasion of Ukraine was put to trial Friday.

Vadim Shishimarin, 26, was arrested for the homicide of a 62-year-old civilian in Chupakhivka, Ukraine. He’s the primary member of the Russian navy to go on trial in Ukraine because the invasion started.

The Home of Representatives has handed a virtually $40 billion invoice that may assist Ukraine in its struggle with Russia.

The invoice, which incorporates navy, financial and humanitarian help to Ukraine, cleared the chamber 368 to 57. No Democrats opposed the invoice.
